We know you hear that word often. It could be on a commercial, online, or from your insurance agent.
But what is it exactly?
Well let us explain:
General liability essentially protects you and your business from “general” claims involving bodily injury and property damage. It can also help cover attorney fees resulting from bodily injuries and property damage from which your property may be legally responsible. It also covers judgments and settlements related to your case. In some serious cases, these types of cases could bankrupt a small business. Which is why it is important to be well protected and have all of your bases covered!
However, general liability DOES NOT cover:
Employee injuries, auto accidents, intentional acts, or professional mistakes.
It will however cover you and your company against claims involving bodily injuries and property damage from your services and/or operations.
